check_topology is a Nagios plugin to check for the correct configuration of host parent/child relationships.
For each defined host in the supplied hosts.cfg Nagios configuration file check_topology checks
if the last hop in the network path corresponds to the defined parent.

Usage: check_topology [options] -c conf

-c conf hosts.cfg file
-h help screen
-x exclude hosts
-v increase verbosity
-V prints version information

Example: ./check_topology -c /etc/nagios/hosts.cfg -x somehost -v -v
