Update 04.07.2020:
Changed backup age from days to seconds. Script now returns age and max age of a backup job.
This script reaches in /var/log / messages for the name of the Hyper Backup job and compares both the age and the result.
All backups that do not have Result Code 1 or are older than x days are returned as critical.
Requirement:
- NRDP
- Passive check in Nagios
- valid SSL certificate on the part of NRDP
Facility:
- Create a new user-defined task on the Synology NAS under Control Panel -> Task Planning.
- Store the attached script in this task and adjust the necessary fields.
