Check network switch's PoE (Power over Ethernet) usage
Using the standard IETF MIBs this check monitors a network switch's PoE usage and alerts you when hitting self-configurable warning or critical thresholds.
There's an additional check if it's a Cisco switch that supports their power-ethernet MIB.
Very helpful when adding PoE-powered wireless access points or IP phones as it's not always so obvious when/why those peripherals don't power up as expected.

Simple and effective generic monitoring of PoE usage monitoring, tested on Cisco, HP and Netgear switches.
My HP switch 1800 series reports power usage in mW. not in W as required by the RFC3621 PoE MIB. This plugin does not yet compensate for this HP mW reporting and reports 1000 times too high average usage numbers.
