check_hadoop_hdfs_blocks.pl

Nagios Plugin to check the number of total blocks on the HDFS NameNode (works against either the Active or Standby NameNode in an HA configuration) via the Namenode JSP pages in order to detect when you
need to tune JVM heap size up.

Tested on Hortonworks 2.2 (Apache 2.6.0)

usage: check_hadoop_hdfs_blocks.pl [ options ]

-H --host Hadoop NameNode host ($HADOOP_NAMENODE_HOST, $HADOOP_HOST, $HOST)
-P --port Hadoop NameNode port ($HADOOP_NAMENODE_PORT, $HADOOP_PORT, $PORT, default: 50070)
-w --warning Warning threshold or ran:ge (inclusive)
-c --critical Critical threshold or ran:ge (inclusive)
-t --timeout Timeout in secs (default: 10)
-v --verbose Verbose mode (-v, -vv, -vvv ...)
-h --help Print description and usage options
-V --version Print version and exit
