This script is for windows powershell.

Looks at all the pools in data protector, finds any with "*free*" in the name (feel free to change this to suit your naming scheme), and checks those pools to see how many free media are available and tape quality.

Throws nagios suitable output when the number of free media is below a threshold (warning and critical levels are editable in the script), or when a tape is found with anything other than "good" quality.
Requires an entry in nsclient.ini:

check_dp_free_pools = pathtoscriptcheck_dp_free_pools.ps1

And an entry in your nagios server config:

define service{
use generic-service
host_name cellmanager.domain.com
service_description Tape Free Pools
check_command check_nrpe!check_data_protector_free_pools
}
