IIS Application Pool (AppPool) Extended Check
With this simple script it's possible to monitor all application pools without adding something to your configuration file or add a new service check.

its simply designed. checking every application pool in the IIS7 (maybe 6/8) not tested yet.
Its possible to define a blacklist where you can excludes.

If you got 20 ApplicationPools but you dont want to monitor the "Default APp Pool" for example, just add "Default APP Pool" to the "dependenciesexcluded_pools.txt" file. 1 Pool per Line.

Nagios will set a critical state for every pool thats not in the "running" state except the blacklisted ones.

Never add applicationpools manually to your monitoring again.

Add the following line to your NSClient.ini:

check_apppools = "C:Program FilesNSClient++scriptscheck_appools.exe"
