WOTS is a logfile monitoring utility written in perl.
It's based on swatch but different in many ways. WOTS can be configured to watch multiple logfiles (even logfiles that change names eg based on dates) and to generate actions based on patterns (regural expressions) matched in those files. The actions can be printing the message, syslog, send passive check to nagios, executing an external command, and others.
Typically used as a passive check tool running as a daemon on linux or as a service on windows.
