Help Support Ethan Galstad's New Project:

Help Support Ethan

A Message From The Founder...

As the founder of Nagios, I'm asking for your help in a cause that's dear to my heart.

I'm launching a new project to help better the world by providing the information, ideas, and inspiration that I believe can improve the lives of people everywhere.

I know you're busy managing networks, but I would appreciate it if you would consider liking my Facebook page and showing your support for the content and messages I produce by sharing them with your friends and family.

You can learn more about my project by visiting ethangalstad.me/nagios. Thank you for your time. I wish you all the best in your endeavors, whatever they may be.

Collect status and performance data from a wview weather monitoring system.
This plugin monitors either the wview database or the generated web pages to see when the last update happened. Weather data can be recorded as performance data if the DBI::Sqlite3 perl module is installed.

wview is software that collects and displays data from various weather stations.

Plugin usage:

check_wview [-w minutes] [-c minutes] [--file filename] [--no-weather-data]

Output from default invocation:

OK - last update was 4 minutes ago at 01:55:04 19 Nov 2011| lastupdate=3.63333333333333;30;120 rain=0 pressure=30.380363 inHumidity=56 windSpeed=3 inTemp=69.800003 rainRate=0 heatindex=39.800003 outTemp=39.800003 windGust=7 windDir=186 windGustDir=180 dewpoint=23.164438 windchill=39.800003 barometer=30.420303 altimeter=30.409843 outHumidity=51
