Check TYPO3 CMS
Monitoring script for the open-source content management system "TYPO3".
TYPO3 is an enterprise-level open-source content management system for professional websites and web applications. The system has become one of the most important players in the European CMS market and more companies, organizations, and individuals around the world implement their websites using TYPO3. Read more about the software at https://typo3.org

This plugin for Nagios® monitors TYPO3 instances and reports the status to the Nagios® core. Depending on the configuration, Nagios® detects specific states (warning or critical) and runs its notification or event handling procedures.

The main features of this plugin are:

- check TYPO3 core versions
- check TYPO3 core states (dev, alpha, beta, etc.)
- check TYPO3 extensions and specific versions (e.g. insecure extensions)
- check PHP version (compatibility check against TYPO3)
- check TYPO3 deprecation log (which should not be activated on LIVE sites)
- check current disk space of the TYPO3 instance
- and more...

A plugin configuration file (check_typo3.cfg) lets you, as a system administrator, set up your customized monitoring environment. You can list specific TYPO3 Core versions, TYPO3 extensions (and their versions), PHP versions, etc. that Nagios® should treat as suspicous and raise a warning or alarm if detected. Such a configuration enables you to get notified if, for example, the TYPO3 Security Team publishes a security bulletin about a vulnerability found in a TYPO3 extension.

This Nagios® plugin requires the TYPO3 extension "nagios", published as open-source and licensed under GPL in the official TYPO3 Extension Repository (TER), see: https://extensions.typo3.org/extensions/nagios
