The guide provides steps to build and install Nagios Core and Nagios Plugin on Linux on POWER platform (RHEL 7.1 LE on POWER 8 Server)
The Fedora Quick Start Guide was modified for POWER Linux platform, with changes in the configure command (highlighted in blue color in the attached guide).
This will enable the Nagios application to run and monitor devices & servers from IBM POWER system. Testing has been performed to verify that the Nagios monitoring features work as expected when running the application on POWER 8 platform.
