This script is used to check the session usage on a Fortigate firewall.
This is a modified version of the check_netscreen_memory plugin from rroettgen. It is used to check the session usage on a Fortigate firewall. You must have SNMP enabled on the Fortigate on both the interfaces and the management side. These scripts can be modified to check any numeric value on the Fortigate by simply changing the MIB string within the code.

The lib location in the script has been changed to work with Groundwork, so you'll need to modify according to your own lib path.

If anyone can look at it and tell me what to change to retrieve an alphabetic value, let me know.

Syntax is:

check_fortigate_session -H $HOSTADDRESS$ -C SNMP string -w $ARG1$ -c $ARG2$

w - warning

c - critical
