Check a number of hosts or services, like check_cluster, but use a table for the logic.

Checks the ‘Next Update’ time for a number of CRL files using OpenSSL.

Linux disk IO check. Reads /sys filesystem directly to query tps, read, write, avg. request size, avg. queue size and avg. wait time.

Check for existence or non-existence of a file or files - using glob patterns.

Get network interface statistics from a Linux host, but be economical with the output, and try to select interfaces automatically.

Verify the nagios configuration with 'nagios -v'. There are many situations where a nagios configuration can sit broken without anyone noticing.

Checks /var/log/messages for general puppet-agent problems. The status will not return to 'green' until the problem is fixed.

Check that the size of Slab memory does not exceed percentage of total memory.

Check that interfaces are in the state that the network admin requested them to be in in the cisco cli.

Check that modules are in an ok state. Say exactly which module is in non-ok state otherwise. Tested on Cisco Nexus 7000 series switches.
