NTP Service Stratum Level Monitoring Script for Nagios. This Script (v.0.1) was designed for running within nrpe daemon, to monitor remote NTP servers. If you do not use nrpe plugin, then use patch (check_stratum.patch) by Daniel Alder.

Patch by Daniel Alder for Debian, also added '$HOSTANME' variable (for remote monitorin).
check_stratum is simple script for NTP Stratum level Monitoring.
displays stratum levels and returns WARN, CRIT, UNK statuses. script also checks NTP server state.
Script will send WARNING when: Stratum level will be 5 or higher.
CRITICAL: if Stratum level will be 6 or higher. if NTP process is not running.. if NTP libraries is not Installed.
UNKNOWN when: Stratum level will be in 7-16 range.
Tested on RHEL* Fedora* Centos* distributions. Requirements: Linux, ntp server. Version 0.1 - 01-04-2011
