This works great in Mandriva. Not so good in Fedora. I don't think it's the plugin's fault in Fedora though. It appears Fedora 14 has some messed up perl modules. I keep getting : Use of uninitialized value $args{"file"} in lc at /usr/share/perl5/Net/XMPP/Debug.pm line 154. Use of uninitialized value within @_ in lc at /usr/share/perl5/XML/Stream/Parser.pm line 66.
use AuthIQAuth instead of AuthSend in line: my @resp = $ocon->AuthIQAuth(username=>$username,password=>$password,resource=>'Home',tls=>$is_ssl); Tested with openfire 3.6.4
Looks like a useful plugin but I can't make it work with openfire server. -Adi
