This Perl script is intended to do a basic check of an archive file's integrity using 7zip's list command (l). This is not intended to be a thorough check (although it has the option), more of a quick test to make sure that nothing catastrophic happened to the file.
This plugin currently only works on Linux machines and requires 7zip (assumed to be /usr/bin/7z) and Perl's File::Find::Rule module (available on CPAN).

The script can check one or more files (multithread in later versions?) and there are two ways to do that. The first is to specify filenames using -f FILE [FILE] [FILE]...
The second is to specify a directory and shell-style pattern with -d DIR -p PATTERN which performs a recursive search for and tests all files in DIR whose names match PATTERN.

There is also a -t option to use 7zip's more comprehensive archive test. This is only reccommended on small files. This plugin was originally developed to check Windows Backup's .vhd images, and even listing their contents is expensive, let alone a full test.
