This addon allows Nagios to monitor Windows EventLogs by querying an agent installed on the Windows machine (the agent is part of this package.) While by default every event is notified by Nagios, extensive filtering can be defined through various parameters. You can do "anything but XY" or"nothing but XY" notifications or some strange things between these two.

I've followed all instructions up to this point and I now have a "System Eventlog" service, but I've had several "Errors" created in the System event logs since then and the service status never changes from "Eventlog OK".
@zionpsyfer just modify the first line of your check from #!/usr/bin/perl to #!/usr/bin/perl -w ---
The add-on works like a charm! Thanks for this wonderful tool.
Don't bother with this one. After configuration on both server and client, nagios gets "Return code of 126 is out of bounds".
