This perl script will take a nmap "grepable" file (-oG) and generate a host.cfg file. I included the hostgroup.cfg, command.cfg, servicegroups.cfg and service.cfg. Feel free to add ports and/or os types

This saves so much manual work, it can cut days off of adding replacing an existing monitoring server. It will output a hosts.cfg. Search and replace a few times and setup your groups correctly, and you're done. nmap -sS -O -oG 10.34.12.1.txt 10.34.12.1/23 ./nbi.pl 10.34.12.1.txt less hosts.cfg
