Nagios Plugin to check that a host is offline as expected.
My idea was to check if my network printer is switched off when I don't need it, so the idea is linked to home use but you might figure other fields of use.
Displays a warning when [warn_count] out of [packet_count] packages were successful
Usage: ./check_online_warning.sh $HOSTADDRESS$ $ARG1$ $ARG2$ having: $ARG1$ = packet_count, $ARG2$ = warn_count
Example 1: > ./check_online_warning.sh 172.22.10.20 4 4 WARNING - Host 192.168.0.20 is switched on (PL=0%)
Example 2: > ./check_online_warning.sh 172.22.10.200 4 4 OK - Host 192.168.0.200 is switched off (PL=+4)
