A simple plugin that checks the status (running or not) of a ColdFusion server. Developed for CF9 and CF10.
check_coldfusion is a Nagios plugin to check the status of
a ColdFusion server. (using the status argument)

Usage:
check_coldfusion [-p /opt/coldfusion10/cfusion/bin]

Options:
-p/--path-cf
Define the Path to coldfusion"
Default is: /opt/coldfusion10/cfusion/bin

In order to run this script on a remote machine and use check_nrpe for this script you will get an error, that coldfusion must be startet as root. So you must edit your sudoers file. Best use visudo for that.

paste/configure this line at the end of your sudoers file:

nagios ALL=(root) NOPASSWD: /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_coldfusion.sh

(IMPORTANT: between nagios and ALL must be a tabstop and not spaces
