check_quagga_bgpd
check_quagga_bgpd_routecnt
check_quagga_bgpd is a perl script that connects to the running bgpd, parses the config, lists the BGP peers, checks on their status (both IPv4 and IPv6) and returns some nagios-compliant performance data.
It writes a temporary file with the route-count-per-peer.
check_quagga_bgpd_routecnt is a perl script, which reads the temporary file and returns the route-count-per-peer performance data.
Why two scripts ? Because the number of peers is small, and the number of routes is large. Graphing both numbers in the same graph is inconvenient.
