this script worked great, the only thing I had to do was convert the script to run on a Linux server by running the following: 'sed -i -e 's/r$//' scriptname.sh' once imported to my xi server. this removed an error I got in the initial running of the script 'bad interpreter'. I am currently running XI ver. 5.4.7, the script cleared about 80 acknowledgements both host and service. saved me the time of coding something myself. thank you for your contribution.
