Nagios Notification Plugins provides two small notification handlers for Nagios Core: a Bash-based Pushover handler and a Python 3 LaMetric Time handler. Both support host and service notifications directly from Nagios environment macros, so API credentials do not need to be placed in Nagios command arguments or exposed in process listings.
The Pushover handler validates message, title, priority, retry and expiry limits. The LaMetric handler supports an optional local-hour silent window, validates IPv4, IPv6 and DNS targets, and defaults to sending around the clock. The repository contains installation guidance, private configuration examples, Nagios command definitions and automated tests. It has no Python package dependencies and is licensed under GPL-3.0-or-later.
