Works fine in Nagios 3

Works fine in Nagios 3, I used the SSH connection.
When in the instructions it says:
“Log in to the server with the ‘nagios’ user” I did (as root):

# su – nagios -s /bin/bash

because my nagios user didn’t have shell.
