This plugin is based on check_2hoptrace.sh. It is modified to do the trace between 2 hops with TCP SYN packets, so both usage are the same. This is to solve the issue that trace with UDP or ICMP packets is filtered out with firewall. Because root privilege is required for user nagios to run this command, please use "visudo" to add the following line to /etc/sudoers: nagios ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD: /usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_2hoptraceroutetcp.sh Further, find "Defaults requiretty" and place "#" at the beginning of this line.
